Here you will find out about all the books that I have already read (well, only since I started this site) and about my favourites.

Tales of the Otori by Lian Hearn. This set of books is brilliant but hard to explain so here is the link to the official site. I can't call it a trilogy anymore because a fourth book set 16 years after the end of book three has been published! Also, the author is writing a new book which is going to be about what happened before book one. Brilliant! I can't wait!

Book One is called Across the Nightingale Floor. Mummy brought it home from her school's library and I loved it. It was fantastic. It's set in an imaginary country but it has influences of Japan. It's complicated to explain but the main characters are trying to kill a warlord who is trying to take over. It's a thriller with a bit of 'love' thrown in. Book Two is called Grass for his Pillow and I read this all in one go - it took me 8 hours! It follows on from the end of Book One and it's just as good. I'm now reading Book Three which is called Brilliance of the Moon.

Blood Brothers (TRACES) by Malcolm Rose. A good book to read if you like police and forensic science stuff. It's not a funny book; in fact, it's kind of sad in places. The ending is quite a surprise!

Sleepwalker (CHERUB) by Robert Muchamore. CHERUB is a branch of British Inteliigence. Its agents are between 10 and 17 and there are about 300 of them living on CHERUB campus. Sleepwalker is the 9th book in the series. It's not the best in my opinion but it was still enjoyable. It starts with a plane crashing over the Atlantic killing everyone on board. After that it is quite difficult to explain so you should read it yourself! Here is the link to the official Cherub campus website.

Jimmy Coates: Survival by Joe Craig. Absolutely brilliant book. The latest in the Jimmy Coates series. Jimmy is 38% human and 62% robot and is a 12 year old government assassin. I read it all in one day it was so good. It's as good as all the other Jimmy Coates books so if you liked the others you'll love this and if you haven't read any then you should. Here is the official Jimmy Coates website.

Maximim Ride: The Final Warning by James Patterson Really good book about Max and the Flock (98% human and 2% bird) and also it is about global warming. James Patterson has made it into a really good story. This is the 4th book in th series but I didn't think it was as good as the other books though. This is the official website for this series. Apparantly there is a film coming.....hope so!

On Cloud Nine by Anne Fine Brilliant, couldn't put it down. It's about a boy called Stolly who is in hospital because he has fallen out of a window and his best friend is thinking back to all the things that have happened in the past.

Skeleton Key, Scorpia and Eagle Strike by Anthony Horowitz. These are the third, fourth and fifth Alex Ryder books. I like secret agent books! Alex is 14 years old and he gets recruited to MI6 after his uncle (who also worked for MI6) gets killed. This is the link to the Alex Ryder official website.

Point Blanc by Anthony Horowitz. This is the second Alex Ryder book after Stormbreaker and I am now reading the whole series again! In this one Alex goes to France where he meets a mysterious evil headmaster at an academy for rich boys. Alex is sent to uncover any connection between some murders of some of the parents and the academy.

Skellig by David Almond. Absolutely brilliant. This is about a boy and a girl who discover someone with wings. The boy has a baby sister who is in hospital and might die and they help Skellig and Skellig helps the baby.
